Making Coin from Jolly Jones

Ever since they reduced the coin amount for DQ items below 81 to one coin, they have replaced the way to make coin from level 21 to 80 by picking up daily bounty orders from Jolly Jones.

Jolly Jones is located in 4 places on the map and all starting spawn points for its race.
South of Etherblade (256 690)
North of City of the Lost (368 461)
East of City of Plume (422 836)

You are able to pick up 7 bounty orders per day on each of your characters leveled between 21-80. Picking up orders comes with a coin bonus related to your level. Those 7 bounty orders allows you to pick up a random quest from Jolly Jones that rewards you coin only... and decent coin at that.

Here's the breakdown:

LEVEL 21-30
36,000 on pick up
20,000 per bounty quest (140,000 total)
176,000 total per day

LEVEL 31-40
58,000 on pick up
32,000 per bounty quest (224,000 total)
282,000 total per day

LEVEL 41-50
67,000 on pick up
37,000 per bounty quest (259,000 total)
326,000 total per day

LEVEL 51-60
110,000 on pick up
61,000 per bounty quest (427,000 total)
537,000 total per day

LEVEL 61-70
131,000 on pick up
73,000 per bounty quest (511,000 total)
642,000 total per day

LEVEL 71-80
158,000 on pick up
88,000 per bounty quest (616,000 total)
774,000 total per day

IMPORTANT: You cannot pick up orders for two characters within the same level range if they are on the same account. That means, if you have a level 23 and a level 30 character on one account, only the first one that picks up will be able to receive the bounty orders and the coin because they are both within the range of 21-30. If the second character was level 31, then both can pick up the daily bounties and coin.

However, all characters level 21-80 on the same account can complete 7 bounty quests each on the same day regardless if shared level ranges. This comes in handy if you were unable to complete jolly quests on a particular day and made sure that you picked up bounty orders on both your characters.

STRATEGY
Before I outline this, I will you a heads up that this is extremely time consuming. If you thought doing your dailies were boring, this will take the cake. I usually have a character online on the second client flying to do bounty quests while I am on my main character doing other things. So I don't get through all of mine in a day. Nevertheless, I make some serious coinage doing this.

Check this out:

One Account with six classes within each level range.
560,000 total on pick ups
2,177,000 total for all bounty order quests
2,737,000 total per day

If you have a second account:
1,120,000 total on pick ups
4,358,000 total for all bounty order quests
5,474,000 total per day

Here's the thing. Even I don't do all the bounty order quests every day. Who has that kind of time on your hands? But just relax, this might still be worth your time.

If you consider that just by picking up bounty orders can give you over 1 million coin per day for about 15 mins worth of your time, well check this out:

Pick Ups Only (12 characters over 2 accounts)
7.84 million per week
33.6 million per month (average)
407.68 million per year

That's not bad just for pick ups, right? I try to do bounty quests on my characters, starting always with the highest level for the most coin reward. Any quest I manage to finish is considered bonus coin in my books. Every month, I gather all my coin, make my 2-3 big notes, and store it away in my bank. Actually these days, with the gold prices maxed out, I put in a bid for gold since it now takes several days for your gold to show up.

Some of my characters are not developed enough to easily do mob quests so I just trash those quests and keep going (you get 7 total orders, which includes any trashed quests). Most of the time, I'm flying afk to my quest spot while working on my main.

  2. SO that's proof. The free instant level 95 was a scam to sucker people into using the cash shop from the start, because it totally removes all access to these gold making quests.
